NEW- 7-8-08 I JUST GOT HAWAII let me know if your interested in riding it. I know some of you are training for the half May 09 and Ironman Oct 08 -

Previous Post

I bought the Ironman Couer de Alene Video course for my Computrainer and have been riding it during the last month. If you are signed up for the event and want to ride part of the course - for example the hardest 20 mile hill section - email me with your contact information. CALL ME AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT if you want to bring your stuff over we can get you set up for a session anytime prior to the race. I have to tell you this is way cool stuff - normally I can't stand more than1.5 hours on a trainer - this is a whole different thing. Here is John V. knocking himself out.... he did 112 miles.

Later,
Dave

Dave,
During these really hot days, do you still ride your computrainer in the garage? Do you have something other than a fan to keep you cool?

I am going to get back on the trainer in the morning next week after a two week break. I won't be riding in the middle of the day so it will be about 80 - not that bad especially if you turn on the fan. I also ordered the Hawaii course so if anyone is interested in riding that course contact me.

Just wanted to say that anyone signed up for 2009 Couer d'Alene, this is a must offer to take up from Dave.
The computrainer is amazing in how close to the actual course. Being able to ride the trainer and see all the aid stations and surrounding area makes you so much more comfortable when there on race day.

Thanks Ironman Dave for providing this to our club!!!
